Description

The Diffuser plate may be placed on the bottom of you drum resting on your heat shield above the basket or on any lower level.  Diffuser plates are used to disburse direct heat from the fire basket creating a more balance heat source effect for specific foods, large meats or after you wrap to prevent sugary juices from burning and evenly tenderizing.  It is also a perfect tool for cooks using the low & slow barbecue method.
